Since he was a kid, Mark felt "different." As a young child, Mark would have an imaginary friend with whom he would chat, but as he got older, he forgot about that friend. As life continued, Mark always felt connected on a spiritual level, would sense things, and dream things and "see" things that would later come true. Mark decided to explore this side of his life and had psychic and mediumship sessions with Chicago mystic Mark McGowan, under with whom Mark studied to (re)discover how to use his gifts. Mark currently studies under Bay Area intuitive astrologer Kay Taylor to enhance his psychic abilities. Now, Mark provides similar services for folks seeking guidance, needing energy work, or wanting to connect with spirit from the Otherside.
This session includes a quick chakra reading and intuitive psychic guidance based on your inquiry. Evidence and messages will be shared with you. You will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end. You are welcome to audio record the session.

To book a session, send an email to MARK@MARKRMARTELL.COM and specify which session you would like. I will respond with my availability, and we will agree on a date and time. Services must be paid before the scheduled session through Venmo or Zelle or Paypal. Sessions are held on Google Meet, and a private link will be sent to you. Please make sure you have a reliable internet connection and that your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop has a camera and mic that work.
Note: If you recently lost a loved one, I would suggest waiting nine or more months before booking a reading. It is my ethical duty to make sure you do not relive recent trauma and to honor the natural phases of loss and properly mourn and heal.

Mark has been working professionally in higher education since 2000. His career path includes Housing, Student Employment, Career Services, and Cultural Affairs. In addition to work at universities, Mark has worked in social services and for Semester at Sea. He continues to present at higher education conferences such as ACPA, NASPA. AERA, NCORE, APAHE, NCDA, and others. His past presentations focused on topics such as gender and sexuality; sociolinguistics; race; pop culture representation; leadership development; and many more. Additionally, he has been invited to consult for business corporations, governmental offices, and other universities on the above topics, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice

Mark has been reading and collecting comics since the mid-1980s. Through kismet, Mark was asked to teach a course that focused on superheroes and cultural identity. Mark agreed, and he ended up co-creating another course on comics and society. He didn't expect his childhood hobby to be an area to explore in academia, but this experience has led to presentations at higher education conferences (ACPA, NASPA, NCORE) and at comic conventions (C2E2, San Diego Comic Con). His past presentations focused on topics such as gender and sexuality; race; pop culture representation; and many more.
